Jeanine Davis

Jeanine is an associate professor in the Department of Horticultural Science at N.C. State University, located at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center near Asheville. For over 20 years, her program has been focused on improving the sustainability of farming, with a focus on medicinal herbs, organic vegetables, and specialty crops. She is a founding member of the Organic Growers School and the co-author of the book “Growing and Marketing Ginseng, Goldenseal and Other Woodland Medicinals.” Jeanine is a founder of OGS, which started in 1993.
