Franny’s Farm was founded in 2012 by Jeff, Frances, & Zach Tacy. Our 38 acre farm is located in Leicester, North Carolina only 10 miles from downtown Asheville. We are an agri-tourism destination and welcomed over 8,000 visitors in 2017. Our enterprises are weddings and private events, Lodging, Farm Camp (summer only), festivals (HempX and BARNAROO) and Goat Yoga.

We are dedicated to family, sustainability, ethical business and offering an organic farm for visitors to celebrate, learn, explore, relax and have a memorable time. Franny’s Farm is at the core an organic, sustainable farm that is home to many animals such as chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats and a donkey. There are vegetable, fruit, flower, bee and pollinator gardens as well as a u-pick blueberry hill. You can find these goods for sale in our farm store open Tuesday-Sunday. We serve as an event venue and host farm weddings and festivals such as Farm Fest & Asheville BARNAROO. We also offer a summer camp for school age children. Our facility is available for public and private events, educational opportunities, and getaways in our eco cabins. We have a lot going on and are looking for a friendly, focused, hard-working person with skills to work and live on the farm. We have our meat handlers license and poultry exemption. We incubate, hatch, grow out egg and meat birds, sell to farmers and process on our farm.
