Learn About Food Sovereignty and Agriculture in Cuba
Join us for this free event with Eric Holt-Gimenez, Executive Director of Food First—an independent think tank that creates research to support communities and organizers in food justice and food sovereignty movements.

In this 1-hour Skype session, Eric will outline the food sovereignty work happening at the domestic and global levels, the importance of the Cuban organic agriculture movement, and the work of Food First. There will be a Q&A session following Eric’s presentation. You’ll also learn about Organic Growers School’s upcoming trip to Cuba with Tour Coordinator, Sera Deva.
Participants will have the option to stay for a 50-minute film The Power of Community after the presentation.
