Friday Pre-conference Workshops

These all-day, immersive workshops are offered on Friday, March 9, 2018 and run from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. Choose from 3 workshops (all taught by special guest speakers!):

  1. Food for All: Growing Our Community as We Grow Our Food with Karen Washington
  2. Human Health = Soil Health with Dan Kittredge
  3. The Independent Farmstead: Smart, Savvy, Scalable Land Stewardship with Beth and Shawn Dougherty

Saturday and Sunday Classes

Classes are 90-minutes long with a 30-minute break between each class. The classes are organized into 17 learning tracks—each track consists of 4 classes per day. The tracks are:

  17. Thinking Big

$10 Half-Day Workshops

Saturday and Sunday each feature 8 hands-on, half-day workshops—4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. You must be registered for one or both days of the conference to attend these half-day workshops. Additionally, they require an extra $10 per class for material fees. Most sessions have a limited class size. If a workshop isn’t listed on the registration form, it has SOLD OUT.

Sunday Half-Day Workshops are a repeat of Saturday’s. Many of the 90-minute classes on Saturday are also repeated on Sunday so that you may attend these workshops without missing any of your favorite classes. For questions, email Sprout Morgan at
