Over the last few months we have been brainstorming about how to create a more distinctive look for Organic Growers School. Through the years we’ve added many programs for home growers and farmers, each with its own identity. Because of the lack of visual consistency it was wasn’t obvious that a program, service, or conference was an OGS event. We wanted to remedy this by creating a fresh, new look to represent all of our programs and events. Take a look!
We are so pleased with the final product; it has been exciting to begin unveiling the new look on our website and social media. Keep on the lookout for our new logos and photos!
Ella McCoy is a graduate of Appalachian State University’s MBA program and a native of Western North Carolina. She grew up reluctantly helping in her family’s garden and was as surprised as everyone else when she developed a passion for food advocacy and farming, while interning with Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture. Since moving to Asheville, Ella has been involved with the Grace Presbyterian Community Garden, OGS, F.E.A.S.T, and as an “unpaid intern” at her partner’s farm. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, beekeeping, photography, and as much reading as possible.
